Obituary For Otis Sylvester Armstrong, Jr.

Otis S. Armstrong, Jr. was born December 8, 1961 to the late Otis S. Armstrong, Sr. and Sarah Armstrong in Fort Pierce, FL. As the only child to their union, Otis Jr. was loved and adored and considered a loving gift to his parents.

Otis Jr. attended school in Saint Lucie County. He later attended Culinary School in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he loved in on his passion for cooking. He mastered his skill for cooking, barbequeing, and exqusitecuisine as a profession and for family he is willing cooked for.

Otis Je. was known by most for his love of extended discussions. He enjoyed mostly dialoging on the word of God, to family, friends, and even complete strangers. He specialized in sharing a prophetic word of wisdom or word of knowledge as unctioned by God. His infectious laugh and unconditional love and admiration for his spiritual and natural leader and role model, his mother Sarah. His most treasured gift and legacy is his only son, Tobias Otis Jamal Armstrong, in which he was blessed to share many proud affectionate moments with.

Otis Armstrong Jr. left a world of turmoil and trouble to rest and be at peace with his heavenly father on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved son, Tobias OJ Armstrong; mother, Sarah V. Armstrong; grandmother, Essie Armstrong of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Adora Armstrong of Fort Pierce, FL; uncles, Willie (Laura) Collins of Montgomery, AL, George (Vicki) Collins of Fort Pierce, FL, Alvin (Maggie) Armstrong, Lewis (Carol) Armstrong of Jacksonville, FL and Nathaniel Armstrong of Melbourne, FL; aunts, Caroline (Nate) Williamson of Port St. Lucie, FL; godsisters, Shirley Hines, Johnnie Mae Engram, Lenora Copeland, Sabrina Crenshaw, and a host of loving cousins and friends who will forever remember and miss Otis Jr.

Funeral Services for Otis Armstrong will convene on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
