Briar James Lane was born sleeping into the arms of his loving parents on June 3, 2025, at 11:11pm.

Although Briar never spent any time with us on earth, he was very loved and cherished. Our little angel will never be forgotten. Briar is the beloved son of Whitney York and Robert Lane and little brother to Bo, Bentley, and Jade.

He was greeted in heaven by his grandfather, Robert York; great-grandparents, Billy and Mary Jones, James and Dorthy York, and Lydia Sue Lane.

Briar James is survived by his parents, Robert Lane and Whitney York; brothers, Bo Lane and Bentley Maxwell, and sister, Jade Shoefstall; grandparents, Michele and Christopher Smith, Donald and Schobie Lane, and Shea Maybee; great-grandmother, Katherine Turner; aunts, Destiny Faultner and Kylie Faultner; uncle, Noah Lane; and numerous cousins.

The family would like to thank the Doctor and all the nurses for their compassion and support, they will be forever grateful.

No service will take place, arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
