OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Henry Weston, Jr., 80, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in New Orleans, LA. Interment will be at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Bishop Michael Ford, Pastor of New Jerusalem Church of God In Christ in Patterson, LA, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Weston’s memories are being cherished by: four sons, Junior Weston and Lawrence (Cassandra) Weston, both of Patterson, LA, Tony Weston and Reggie Weston, both of Berwick, LA; three daughters, Elaine Weston Thomas (Aubrey) of Eunice, LA, Octavia Weston of Berwick, LA and Kimberly Weston (Arthur Dugar) of Verdunville, LA; two brothers, Joseph Weston of Franklin, LA and Robert Weston of Patterson, LA; four sisters, Jean W. Jones and Orner Lee Arvie, both of Opelousas, LA, Alverta W. Haynes of New Iberia, LA and Georgia W. Ford (Bishop Michael) Berwick, LA; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Josephine Weston; his parents, Henry and Helen Rideaux Weston; one son, William Lee Weston; five brothers, Marshall Weston, Lee J. Weston, James Weston, Thomas Weston and Phillip Weston; and three sisters, Rosemary Weston, Ruby Lee W. Jefferson and Randy Weston.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
