Ricky E. Moore was born on February 10, 1964, in Tuskegee, Alabama to Willie Moore and Mary Moore.

He graduated from Countryside High School. Ricky was inducted into the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame. He was an avid sports player playing baseball, football and basketball.

Ricky E. Moore departed this life on June 5, 2025, in Panama City, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Moore, brother, Samson Lamar, Jr., maternal grandparents, Alfred Johnson and Iyce Johnson and paternal grandparents, Oscar Austin, Sr. and Willie Lee Austin.
