LEMOYEN – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at St. Luke Baptist Church in LeMoyen, LA for Mr. Edward Harris, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Ed”, 71, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at his residence in Morrow, LA.

Pastor Murphy Riggs will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Harris’ memories are being cherished by: his two brothers, Earnest Harris of Morrow, LA and Rogers Harris of Mamou, LA; one step brother, Fredrick Jordan of Bunkie, LA; two sisters, Georgian Harris-Stevens of Opelousas, LA and Mary Collins of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Hazel Fontenot Harris and two sisters, Rosa Lee Harris and Diane Harris.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church.
