Briana Edwards, 34, passed on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Sunday, June 22, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Elder Christopher Palmer, officiating.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Briana Marquita Edwards, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, and devoted mother, who left this world far too soon on June 14, 2025, at the age of 34.

Born on November 4, 1990, in Columbus, Georgia. Briana, brought joy, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. With a smile that could brighten any room and a heart full of kindness, she touched lives in ways words cannot fully express. Briana was the proud and loving mother of two beautiful children, Karter Johnson and Chase Johnson, who were the light of her life. She was known for her strength, kindness, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Polk.

She leaves behind her children, Karter and Chase, her parents, mother, Trisele Polk and father, Ronald Edwards (Erica); sisters, Ameika N. Polk and Rakyma B. Crayton; aunt, Zavala Palmer (Chris); grandmother, Brenda Polk; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memories.

Her light will continue to shine through her children and in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in heavenly peace, our sweet Bri Bri. You are deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.
