Mr. Melvin Short age 74 entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Nashville Veterans Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife Sandra Short of 35 years. Daughter: Tameka Short and Stepson: Dwight (Megan) Horton Jr. Brother: Cleveland Short of Mississippi. Sisters: Valene Gentry of Chicago and Theresa Short of Clarksville. Six Grandchildren and a host of family an associate.

Public Visitation - Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4-6pm at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors, 2500 Clarksville Pike Nashville, Tn 37208.

Family Visitation - Friday, 10:30 - 11:30am with funeral service to follow at the above location.
