Lisa Quinnette Morris Holland was the second of four children born to the late Otis and Juanita Morris Sr. on November 22, 1962 in Griffin, Georgia. From her early years, she was a strong-willed, thoughtful, and dedicated person who often found herself assisting and caring for others. While obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications at West Georgia College, she met and married the love of her life, Reverend Anthony Holland, on June 15, 1984.
In the beginning of their 40-year marriage, they started their journey in Mrytle Beach, South Carolina, then to Denver, Colorado, before settling down in Augusta, Georgia. While in Augusta, Georgia, Anthony and Lisa co-founded Strong Tower Christian Fellowship in 1995 where Lisa served as the First Lady. During her time as First Lady, she oversaw the music and women’s fellowship ministry, where she counseled, mentored, and befriended women both in and out of the church. Not only was her love for Christ and ministry evident within the church, but it also showed up in her career.
For over 20 years as an Executive Legal Secretary, Lisa’s passion and commitment to serving others were palpable through her professionalism. You always knew when she was in the building by her fashionable décor and style. Although Lisa began receiving cancer treatment in August of 2023; she stayed committed to fulfilling her duties and responsibilities in all aspects of her life.
