Spencer Dion Mosley Sr., of Red Oak, Virginia, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet passion for the simple joys of life. Born to Daniel and Luvern Mosley in South Boston, Spencer was a devoted son, a caring father, and a loyal friend to many.
Spencer was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Fannie Carrington, whose influence and love
remained with him throughout his life.
In addition to his mother, Luvern Davis and father, Daniel Mosley (Maryann), he is survived by his five children: Spencer Mosley Jr. of Meherrin, VA; Michael Jones (Tiffany) of Keysville, VA; Muneerah Hall of Clarksville, VA; Shaleshia Richardson (George) of Wake Forest, NC; and Iyisa Smith of Norfolk, VA. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy and pride. He also leaves behind four sisters: Janet Feggins, Daneko Wilson (Paul), Debbie Reynolds, Tracy Montoya (Raul), and one brother: Donnell Mosley (Carolyn), and a host of nieces and nephews.
Spencer had a deep appreciation for nature and personal wellness. He found peace and
excitement in kayaking and fishing, and he was passionate about bodybuilding, a discipline that
reflected his inner strength and determination.
Professionally, Spencer found fulfillment working for Securitas at Microsoft in Boydton, VA, where he built lasting relationships with his coworkers and took great pride in his work. His dedication and positive spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him there.
Spencer Dion Mosley Sr. will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family,
and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Viewing for Mr. Spencer Dion Mosley, Sr. will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Carter's Funeral Home, 206 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, Virginia from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the Salem Baptist Church, 4050 Tobacco Road, Red Oak, Virginia 23964 at 2:00PM. Reverend Loretta Bailey will deliver the eulogy.
