Lue Jane Byas, 79, died Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, SC. She was born August 11, 1945, in Summerton, SC. A daughter of the late Willie and Mary Ann Lemon Byas.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St James AME Church, Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her sister Julia Wells, 1118 Steven Road Summerton, SC.
