Mrs. Octavia Hayes Funeral services for Mrs. Octavia Hayes will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11 AM at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jerome Roberts, Pastor officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 AM until funeral time. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayes, 91, made her transition on November 24th at Rush Foundation Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories 2 sons, John F. (Katrina) Russell of Meridian and William (Veronica) Hayes of Atlanta, GA; 1 daughter, Charlotte (Joe) Phillips of Cincinnati, OH; 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, friends and church family.
