Brandie Natazia Ross-Lester, the daughter of Yvette Williams and Brad Ross, was born in Harrisburg, PA.
On Friday, June 13, 2025, God whispered in her ear saying, “Daughter, your journey is complete, it is time for you to come home”: Brandie transitioned into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family.
She spent her childhood educational years in the Harrisburg School District and graduated from John Harris High School, Class of 2001. She was formerly employed by Durham School Services and was a bus driver for the Central Dauphin East School District.
On Friday, September 25, 2016, she was united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Kenneth (Kenny) Lester III. Through this union they were blessed with three beautiful children. Brandie enjoyed her life as a wife and mother.
Brandie was an avid book reader and spent her leisure time crocheting and enjoyed listening to music. She loved spending time at family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emma and Ezra Scott and Isabelle Ross; her aunt, Shelly Burden; uncles, Ollie, Jay and Dennis Ross and her cousin/brother, Eddie McMullen, Jr.
Brandie leaves to cherish her legacy and many special memories to her husband, Kenneth (Kenny) Lester III; two daughters, Amayla Brown and Kenya Lester; one son, Jordan Lester, all of Harrisburg, PA; her parents, Yvette Williams (Vincent) and Brad Ross (Terri); sisters, Joleane Ross and Yvette (Pookie) Ross; her cousin/brother, Quinn Coley; uncles, S. Shawn Scott and Gary Ross; her mother-in-law, Darlene Washington; her brother-in-law, Stephen Washington; nieces, Christian Ross, Raynne-Marie Palmer, Divine Johnson, Omini and Onesty Washington; nephew, Isaiah Palmer and a host of family and friends.
Her life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with visitation from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
