MR. TERRY EUGENE BURSE – AGE 75 – Of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. He was born on August 9, 1949 to the late Elijah Burse and Nora Maddox Burse. He was preceded by his grandsons, Shantrell Vinson, Jer’Monie Vinson, sister Linda Baker, brothers, Gary Burse, Melvin Burse; nephews, Maurice Hart, Casey Burse, and Carlos Baker. Mr. Terry Burse was a Rock Mason and he attended New Salem Baptist Church in Dewberry, GA., and was a member of Faith Temple in Chattanooga, TN.

Survivors are his loving and devoted children, son, Shannon (Ceyuandra) Vinson; daughters, Teresa Barnes, Annisha (Eric) Lewis, Shaquandra “LuLu” Vinson; grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Brandon “Pig” Lewis, ariel Barnes; Shantiana, Tyrika, Keyshundra, Shannon, Jr., Vey’asia, Jerrion, Tavion, Dre, Keyshannon, Goddess, Shandee, and Taison Vinson; sisters, Wanda (Robert) Buchanan, Cynthia Renee McCoy; aunts, Bertha Burse, Tiny Wheeler; close friends, Brenda “Hollywood” Davis, Reginald Mapp, James Caldwell, and James Clark; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. at New Salem Baptist Church, 756 Dewberry Road, Rossville, Georgia 30741 with Pastor Steven Gilchrist as Eulogist and Pastor Andre’ Sharp as Presider. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
