Annie Lee Carter Palmer,81, widow of Robert Palmer, died Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. She was born June 9, 1944, in Manning, SC. A daughter of the late Henry and Annie Mae Oliver Carter.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.

Homegoing services for Ms. Palmer will take place 2:00 PM Sunday, July 6, 2025, from the Historic Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Granby Ln, Summerton, SC. Ms. Palmer will lie in state one hour prior to the time of service. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends beginning Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM til 7:00 PM daily at the home of her sister, Juanita Carter Harrington, 2930 Hector-Walker Rd., Manning, SC.
