Funeral service for Martha Doolittle, 79, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Bishop Henry Ligon will officiate.

Mrs. Doolittle, who passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Arbor Lake Health and Rehab, was born September 1, 1945, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Stanley (Lisa) Doolittle, Wanda McCurdy, Beverly Hill and John L. (Jennifer) Doolittle, Jr. all of Opelika, AL; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mary Carr of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
