Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Fersner, 70, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 2:00pm, Monday, July 7, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 11 Mt. Carmel Road, Cameron.

Barbara Jean Glover Fersner, the daughter of the late Eugene (Jessie Mae) Glover was born April 13, 1955, in Orangeburg County. Barbara Jean answered the Master’s call on Sunday morning, June 29, 2025, at Orangeburg (MUSC) Orangeburg, SC.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Orangeburg County where she graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, Class of 1973. Barbara was a sweet person who would help and do anything for anyone. She would call and check on everyone. She enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone. Cooking and baking were her passion.
Preceding her in death, her daughter Tineine Fersner, January 20, 1991.

She will be greatly missed by two daughters, LiQuannas Joyce of Moncks Corner, SC, and Monica Fersner of Columbia, SC; her husband Earl Fersner of Orangeburg, SC; four grandchildren, JaQuan Palmer, Taevion Fersner, Nasir Brown, and Sevin Walker and three great-grandchildren, Amina Jacobs, Anyla Smith, and Jaire Fersner aka Bubba; one brother, Horace Glover of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters, Linda Reed of Orangeburg, SC, Cynthia (Troy) Salley of Atlanta, GA, and Jessica Glover of Orangeburg, SC. A special niece Latasha Salley. A special grandson Kevin Jenkins Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2-6pm.
