SEÑORA MARIA DEL ROSARIO MONTOYA VAZQUEZ - Age 81, of Cohutta, GA passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025. She was born September 7, 1943 in La Palma, Tamasopo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband, Praxedis Olvera Fajardo; daughters, Silvia Olvera and Elba Olvera Montoya.

She is survived by her loving children, Eliseo (Minerva Ponce) Olvera, Veronica (Inocente) Gobellan, Ramiro (Juana) Olvera, Martha (Asis Medina) Olvera, German (Alma Morales) Olvera, Aurora (Clemente Ponce) Olvera; son-in-law, Juan Pablo Gomez; numerous grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation be Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Willis Funeral Home.

Mass will be Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 968 Haig Mill Lake Rd, Dalton, GA 30720 with Father Arturo. Interment; West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.

Le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Eliseo (Minerva Ponce) Olvera, Verónica (Inocente) Gobellán, Ramiro (Juana) Olvera, Martha (Asis Medina) Olvera, Germán (Alma Morales) Olvera, Aurora (Clemente Ponce) Olvera; yerno, Juan Pablo Gómez; numerosos nietos, hermanos, sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.

El velatorio se realizará el Miércoles 2 de Julio de 2025 de 4:00 - 8:00 PM en la Funeraria Willis.

La misa se celebrará el Jueves 3 de Julio de 2025 a la 3:00 PM en la Iglesia Católica de San José, 968 Haig Mill Lake Rd, Dalton, GA 30720. El entierro se realizará en el Cementerio West Hill.
