Sally Simmons Nolan of Newport passed on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Her service is 11:00 AM, Monday, July 7, 2025 at Mt. Zion M. B. Church 405 Cedar St., Beaufort. The interment will follow.

She is survived by her husband, Sherman Nolan, Newport; four daughters, Carnika Simmons, Beaufort, Chandele Simmons, Havelock, Thyais Simmons, Beaufort, Ariel Simmons, Havelock; one son, Milton George Jr., Newport; two step-daughters, Sherika Rollings, Beaufort and Cloudette Nolan, Newport; three sisters, Carrie Johnson, Newport, NC, Nakia Pete and Tonya Jackson both of Havelock; ten grandchildren.
