Mark A. Riley of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on June 24, 2025, at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. Mark was born on October 28, 1965, to the late Rosa Lee Gales and John A. Riley.

Mark accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 16 years old. Mark was a hardworking man, and he instilled his work ethic into his children. Mark was a loving father and grandfather, and a family-oriented man. He loved spending time with all of his family members and occasionally traveled with his family for vacations. Mark was fun-loving and easy going. He loved sports, and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys to the core. Mark lived his life to the fullest and he did not hesitate to tell others about His Lord and Savior on a regular basis; spreading the gospel.

Mark is survived by his lifelong companion, Ann Whitfield, and her daughter, Andrea Reed-bonus daughter; son, Mark A. Riley Jr. of Burnsville, Minnesota; granddaughter, Makevia Riley (16) of Burnsville, MN; grandsons, Gregory Reed (22), Jordan Reed (21), and Chris Reed (17), all of Memphis, TN; six siblings, Ronnie Gales (JoElla Gales) of Memphis, TN, Kathy Sharp (the late Elder Curtis Sharp), Mary Riley, Lolita Riley, and Kimberly Roseman (Marvin Roseman), all of Minneapolis, MN, and Meredith Miller (Miquel Miller) of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons Funeral Home 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 11:00am at South Parkway Church of Christ 2063 S Pkwy E, Memphis, TN 38114

Internment will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery 14910 Cathy Rd, Byhalia, MS 38611
