Reverend Carlos J. Boyer Sr.
A Celebration of Life service in loving memory of Reverend Carlos J.Boyer Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 4525 W. Palmetto Street, Tampa 33607, with Reverend Anthony W. Greene, Pastor. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Reverend Carlos James Boyer Sr. was born February 15, 1944 to Hollifield and Pecolia Boyer in Sandersville, Georgia. He was educated in Washington County public schools and enlisted in the military US Armywhere he received an honorable discharge. He retired from Terra Construction and graduated from the Florida Theological Seminary andBible College in Lakeland Florida. On June 27, 2025 God called his faithful servants’ name into eternal rest.
Reverend Boyer is preceded in death by parents: Hollifield and Pecolia Boyer, sons Carlos Boyer Jr. and Kelvin Boyer Sr., daughter Felicia Boyer, great- granddaughter Kari’onna Terrible.
Survived by sister: Betty Boyer Starling
Children: Angie Boyer (Yusuf Hardy, Dewayne Gooden), Carlos A. BoyerSr., Calvin Boyer, Christal Boyer, and Christopher Flowers
Grandchildren: Supportive grandson Diontae Johnson, his right-hand man Jordan Flowers, Breanna Boyer (Foodson), Dalisa Boyer, Anthony Willis,Destiny Grider, A’Niyah Flowers, Zarina Flowers, Carlos A. Visitation for Reverend Boyer will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa.
