Ms. Mattie Pearl Walker-Harris, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on July 9, 2025. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at New Life COGIC Annex #2, 5000 Patterson Road, Montgomery, AL, with Pastor Terry Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at New Center Cemetery, Hope Hull, AL, with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Mattie Pearl Walker-Harris will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service at the church.
