Funeral service for Lorine Buchannon, 85, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, 2315 Lee Road 10, Auburn, AL, 36832 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL 36832, Reverend Maurice Woods will officiate.

Mrs. Buchannon, who passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her home in Auburn, Alabama, was born June 14, 1940, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Buchannon will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Mrs. Mary Buchannon Reese, Randolph Buchannon, Jr, Bobby Buchannon, Lorni (Earnest) Philpot, Jr., and Skyy Buchannon; one aunt, Christine Thomas; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
