Mr. Bryant Maurice Swayne, 62, of Hickory, North Carolina transitioned on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Wake Forest Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He was born on July 10, 1963 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Griffin Swayne and Mabel Harris Swayne.

Bryant graduated from Mt. View High School. He was a faithful member of Morning Star First Baptist Church. He was employed at Preston Funeral Home.

A Memorial service will be will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 1:00 p.m. at Morning Star First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
