Raymond Staples Sr., 71, of Los Angeles, CA. formerly of Gadsden, AL. died on Saturday, December 8, 2018. He is survived by his loving children.

Funeral arrangements are as follows: The family will receive family and friends at 1524 Arrowhead Drive Gadsden, AL. 35903

Celebration of Life will be at 12 O'clock noon on Saturday, December 29,2018 at New Destiny Christian Church located at 201 Goldenrod Ave, Gadsden, AL 35901. Bishop Steve Smith, Officiating. Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Coach is who i remembered my first basket ball coach. He was a great man. I remember hanging out with my childhood buddy Lil Raymond now grown as i am. I'll never forget how they always kept their house smelling like roses. Everytime i went over there the whole house smelled like roses to me at least.
