Mrs. Dorothy Rozella Starr Wilson, 80, of Bessemer City, North Carolina transitioned peacefully at her residence on Monday, July 21, 2025.

She was born in Gaston County, North Carolina on September 2, 1944 to the late Wesley Starr and Delzora Carson Starr.

She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Dorothy graduated from John Chavis High School, class of 1962.

Funeral Service will be Friday, August 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church located at 273 Tryon School Loop Road, Bessemer City, NC. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the funeral home from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
