Genoveva Martínez was born January 3, 1966 in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico to the late Altagracia Pérez and Florencio Venegas (still alive). She had 4 sisters and one brother. She was united in marriage to Sacramento Martinez. She enjoyed cooking, specially for the holidays. Loved decorating her home for every season. She was a happy and out going person who was friends with many in the Denton area. A very caring and supportive person.

Left to celebrate her legacy- Sons Ulises Santa Maria, Norberto Perez, and Nestor Daniel Perez. Sisters Gloria Lazaro, Carmen Venegas, Rosa Maria Venegas and Rita Venegas. Brother Jose Lazaro.
