Larry L. Sullivan was born May 12, 1952, in Rossville, TN to the late John L. Sullivan and Louise Arnett Sullivan.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Rossville, TN and later served as a faithful member of New Era Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.
Larry was a proud graduate of Melrose High School, class of 1972. After graduating High School, he answered a call to duty becoming a US Army Veteran, serving 5 years during the Vietnam War era. After returning stateside, he began a career in logistics with IDEAL Chemical Company for over 15 years.
During his lifetime, he experienced two loving unions; the first of which yielded three children, Andranette White, April Sullivan, and Leonard (Chelena) Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ethel Turner; and four brothers Thomas, Michael, Edward, and Edwin Sullivan.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories: his children, three grandsons, four sisters, a brother, brother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends for a public viewing on Saturday July 26, from 10 am until service of celebration 12 pm at R. S. Lewis Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay Hwy.
Interment will be Wednesday July 30, 10 am at West Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery.
