Bernard's Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel, announces the transition of Mr. Leonard Mapp Jr. of San Diego, California, formerly of Madison, GA. Mr. Mapp transitioned peacefully, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at UC San Diego Health Hilcrest Medical Center in San Diego, California.

Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2025, 4-6 P.M. at The Madison Chapel, 1086 Ward Road, Madison, Ga 30650.

A celebration of life for Mr. Leonard Mapp Jr. will be Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11 A.M. at The Madison Chapel as well. Following the celebration of life, interment will take place at the Historical Madison Memorial Cemetery-Fairview, located at 100 Center Street, Madison, GA 30650.
