A beloved resident of Valdosta, Georgia, Earlene was the matriarch and backbone of her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, her presence brought warmth, wisdom, and unwavering strength. She carried a bold spirit and a loving heart—always ready with a firm word, a hearty laugh, and her signature phrase, “Yes darling.”

Earlene had a way of welcoming everyone under her wings. She was outspoken, nurturing, and protective, embracing all who needed love and direction. Her kitchen was her sanctuary, where she poured out her soul through dishes made with excellence, and where she built memories that will never fade. As a passionate caterer, she served not just food, but joy, unity, and celebration.

There are no words sufficient to capture the fullness of her influence. Larger than life, she gave herself freely not just to her family, but to countless friends, neighbors, and community members. Her light was unmistakable, her legacy undeniable, and her love unforgettable.

Celebrating a Woman of Grace and Strength: The family of Mrs. Earlene Scott Henderson invites you to join them as they celebrate her remarkable life. Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Crossing Jordan Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Pallbearers Cemetery.
