Mrs. Anette Rogers, 71, of High Point, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center. She was born on April 20, 1954, in Laurinburg, NC, to the late Hubert and Hazel McNeil. In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her brothers, Kube L. Cash and Franklin McNeil.
She is a proud graduate of Scotland High School, where she completed her education in the class of 1972. Following her high school years, she furthered her academic journey by enrolling at Guilford Community College, Jamestown, NC
Anette was well known for her generous spirit and her unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. With a heart full of kindness, she had a true gift for giving and found joy in making a difference in the lives of others. Anette had a passion for travel and shopping, always eager to explore new places and create cherished memories with her family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with her husband of 41 years, James W. Rogers of the home; her children, Timothy Rogers Sr. (Kintajah), Darryl Lynch (also known as Blake), Denise Rogers (affectionately known as "Dee-Dee"), and James Rogers Jr. (nicknamed "Yogi"), will carry on her memory. Annette is also survived by her siblings: Hattie Mae McNeil, Effie Washington (Chris), her twin sister, Janette McNeil, Willie Moore (Sandra), Harvey McNeil (Valerie), Earleen Smith, and Marlin Ratcliffe (Anthony); she was a proud grandmother to Icesis Chandler-Rogers, Icelynne Chandler-Rogers, A'Kyrion Southerland, Lauryn Rogers, Timothy Rogers Jr., and Zack Lynch. In addition, she leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Creole Robinson (Edmond) and Linda Williams, as well as her brothers-in-law, Timothy Williams (Sonya), Roger Williams (Carly), Zeke Williams (Linda), and Jimmy Williams. Annette will be deeply missed by her special friends, Gracie Hopkins, Estella, and Ernest McLean, along with a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 5,2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Life Changing International Church. Interment will follow at Guil- Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
