Mr. Curtis Daniels, 77, answered his call from the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
He was the only child born in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia on February 29, 1948, to the late Mrs. Ada P. Thornton Daniels and the late Mr. James W. Daniels. They both preceded him in death.
He graduated from David T. Howard High School in Atlanta, GA in 1966. He served in the United Sates Army from February 2, 1967 until October 22, 1968, during the Vietnam War. He received an honorable discharge.
He retired from Dixie Industries as a Forklift driver. In 1995, he met the love of his life, Ms. JoAnn Lewis. They were united in marriage on December 6, 2016. He loved his family. He enjoyed traveling and fishing and most of all he loved to watch sports, football, baseball and basketball. But even more, He loved his wife, JoAnn Lewis Daniels very much.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, JoAnn Lewis Daniels; two daughters, from a previous marriage, Mrs. Yasmine Daniels McWilliams and Ms. Courtney Daniels; two step-daughters, from his current marriage, Mrs. Lanessa (Dontey) Knight of Winston, GA and Mrs. Kimberly Billings (Darrell) Johnson of Lithia Springs, GA; one granddaughter, three step-granddaughters, Lateysha, Aliyah and Kayla and three step-grandsons, Dontey Jr., Jaylin and Jamari; two step great grandsons, Jair and Armani; a host of cousins, aunt, and other relatives and friends.
