Agnes Elaine Hayes

Passed 07/23/2025

Born on November 12, 1950, in Clearwater, Florida, Agnes was the cherished daughter of the late Maybell Richardson and John Akins, Sr. She was educated in the Pinellas County school system, graduating from Pinellas High School in 1968, and continued her education at Bethune-Cookman College.

Agnes was a member of the Springtime Lodge Order of Elks. She dedicated much of her career to BayCare, serving as a valued employee at Morton Plant Hospital as an insurance verifier for Radiology.

Beyond her professional life, Agnes embraced every moment with passion-whether it was her love for shopping, dancing to her favorite music, or spending cherished time with her family. She was known for her genuine kindness, and a gift for making everyone feel like family. Even if she didn't know your name, you could always count on her signature greeting: calling you “Ms./Mr. Too.”

She was proceeded in death by her parents, four brothers: Monroe Richardson, Melvin, John, and Charles Akins, and several beloved sisters: Elnora Keith, Gwendolyn Anderson, Lucy Mae Akins, Juanita Ford, Jeanevea Clark, Ella Mae Stokes, and Jane Akins.

She leaves to cherish her memories…..
