Mr. Henry Bess, of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Vitas in Panama City, Alabama.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church located at 16345 SE River Street in Blountstown, Florida.

Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery located at 326 13th Street in Blountstown, Florida.

Mr. Bess will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Daughters: Yolanda (Derrick) Stephenson and Angelica (Delandon) Reed both of Blountstown, Florida

One Son: Vincent (Priscilla) Simmons of Tallahassee, Florida

Three Step Daughters: Shinena Peterson, Aleshia Jackson and Latoria (Dante) Ziggler all of Blountstown, Florida

One Brother: Charles Yon of Marianna, Florida

One Sister: Penny Dudley of Grand Ridge, Florida

And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
