It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of M. Charles Larry McGee Sr.

Charles Larry McGee Sr. 74, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at New St. John A.M.E. Church, 2505 Holton St., with burial at Bethel Cemetery. Viewing will be from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. Friday, August 8, 2025 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Survivors include his loving wife, Annie McGee; two sons, Charles McGee Jr. and Oscar McGee; four daughters, Erica McGee, Chander Stephens, Lyvette McGee and Sheena Thomas; two sisters, Patricia Ford and Freddie Price; and a host of other relatives and friends.
