It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Walter Jenkins Jr.

Walter Jenkins, Jr, 83, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away on July 31, 2025, after a brief illness.

Born on August 14, 1942, in Mobile, AL, he was the beloved son of Walter and Annie Jenkins. He was dedicated to the financial and mortgage field for over 40 years and known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Christine, his children, Nicole, Byron, Walter, Gregory (Tony), Alvin, Shantel and Adrian, 30 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Strong and Jones Funeral Home Chapel.
