Charles Henry Bond was born on Thursday, October 22, 1959, in Windsor, North Carolina, to his parents, James Heckstall and Alice Bond. He was raised in a Christian home and was educated in the Bertie County School System.

Charles was employed by Purdue Farms Inc. in Lewiston,North Carolina
