Obituary For Mary Perry Reese Curtis

MRS. MARY PERRY REESE CURTIS - Age 73, of Forest City, North Carolina, and formerly of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She was born on October 22, 1945 to the late Amos and Leola Connley Perry, Sr., was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and was retired from Timber Co. Her sisters, Dixie Lee Perry, Betty Simmons, and Christella Crawford, and brother, James Connley, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa (Dorsey Garland) Reese of Norfolk, Virginia; sister, Joyce Pope of Monticello, Florida; brother, Amos (Charlotte) Perry, Jr. of Summerville, Georgia; granddaughter, Samantha Upshaw; great grandchild, Kylin Ware of Calhoun, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The Service to Celebrate the Life of Mary Curtis will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 452 West Line Street, Calhoun, Georgia, with Pastor James Washington and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 1:00 P.M. Interment, Chandler Cemetery.
