HAWKINS---Mrs. Emmie Meadows was born and raised in Jefferson, Texas to the late June and Mattie Watkins. She was raised in Louisiana and resided in Muskegon, Michigan. In her later years, she moved to Hawkins, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her parents and brothers Andrew Watkins and June Watkins Jr.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Hawkins

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons Charles Robinson, Leroy Watkins (Lisa), Andrew Robinson and Marcus Meadows. Two daughter Betty Robertson (Richard) and Jackie Meadows. Two sisters Verlene Harris and Louise Calvin.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Jarvis Christian College Chapel and interment to follow in the Jarvis Cemetery. Public viewing will be held at the funeral home Friday, August 15, 2025 from 2-8 pm.
