Shirley Ann Rosser, a devoted servant of God, a loving family member, and a cherished friend, peacefully entered eternal rest on August 11, 2025 at the age of 65.
Born on September 23, 1959 in Sunflower, MS, Shirley lived a life deeply rooted in faith, compassion, and community. A proud graduate of Ruleville High School, she was known for her athletic spirit, once playing basketball with a determination that matched the way she approached life. She attended Jackson State University, where she expanded her knowledge and built skillsets that would be carried in her abilities to pursue various career opportunities.
For many years, Shirley worked faithfully at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where her professionalism, kindness, and work ethic earned her the respect of colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her career, she was a pillar in her church, dedicating her time, talents, and prayers to the ministry she loved and held near and dear to her heart, the Food Pantry and the Outreach Ministry.
She had a heart as big as her smile and a spirit that uplifted everyone around her. Whether she was spending time with family, encouraging someone through their struggles, helping others in need, or just sharing her love for God, Shirley led with kindness, purpose, and joy. Her love for her church, dedication to her children, and her commitment to her family were the center of her life. Shirley lived boldly, beautifully, and unapologetically, an example of how life should be embraced with faith, fun, and fierce love.
