Brother Otis Chester, Jr, was one of ten children born to the late Otis Sr. and Virgina Chester on January 20, 1945, in Greene County Georgia. He was educated and graduated from the Greene County School System in 1963. In 1986, he dedicated his life to Jehovah God and symbolized it by water baptism on October 16, 1986.
Otis Chester, Jr. “T” which he was called by family and close friends loved being outside working in his gardens and looking after his farm animals. He enjoyed canning vegetables, making fruit preserves and cooking. He was a very generous man and most of the items grown in his garden were given away to family and friends. “T” loved seeing what he and the earth produced.
On August 5, 2010, he married Alphatina Brown. With this union he shared his large and beautiful family.
Jehovah God called Brother Otis Chester Jr. and he answered on August 11, 2025. He leaves cherished memories with his wife Alphatina Chester. His loving six children: Annette (Derril) Greenwood, Fanya Evans, Regina (Stephen) Gainer, Otis Chester III, Travis Chester and Jeremy Chester; his three sisters Dorothy Jackson, Agnes Parrott and Vera Chester; one brother Harold Chester; three sisters-in-law Jacqueline Chester, Dean Chester and Juanita Chester. His memories are also cherished by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
