Obituary For Leslie Monzell Fields

MR. LESLIE MONZELL FIELDS – Age 70, of Cleveland, Tennessee and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. He was born on August 31, 1948 to the late Charles and Martha Allen Fields. Wife, Norma Sue Moore Fields, One brother, Charles Ivan Fields, and his grandparents, Chris and Fannie Houseworth, Robert Allen and Emma Walton, preceded him in death.

Survivors are one daughter, Sharon (Tavares) Dawson; two sons, Chris Davis of Goodwater, Alabama and Aaron Fields of Dalton, Georgia; grandchildren, Iris Dawson, Lazoria Dawson of Goodwater; three sisters, Linda Moore, Angelina Lindsey of Dalton, Georgia and Ann (Danny) Johnson of Rome, Georgia; one brother, Zell Herbert (Linda K.) Fields of Cleveland, Tennessee; aunt, Emma Sue Broome of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. in the Chapel with Rev. Charles D. Catchings and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. As Brother Fields’ Chaplain at SHC I enjoys countless times of fellowship and prayer in his room. One our favorite times was eating Subway cold cut heroes together and just shooting the breeze. Love you my brother. See you again. PC
