Obituary For Mrs. Mary McMullen Peay

Mrs. Mary "Bay" McMullen Peay, 66, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Carolina Medical Center-Pineville, North Carolina.

She was born January 6, 1952 in Chester County South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late James McMullen Sr.and Isabell D. McMullen Suratt.

Mary was educated in the Chester County School System She was united in holy matrimony to Edward L. "Yiggie" Peay.

Cherishing her memories are her husband, Edward of Lancaster, SC; six sons, Michael L. McMullen of Gastonia, NC., Scottie L. McMullen of Charlotte, NC., Timothy C. White of Woodbridge, VA. Dwan Peay Palm Beach, Fla., Channing Heck and Trinity Clyburn of Kershaw, SC ; two sisters, Brenda K. McGriff of Rock Hill, SC. and Sharon Brown of Lancaster, SC; two brothers, Dan McMullen of Great Falls, SC., and Less McMullen of Lancaster, SC.; eleven grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Mt. Carmel AME Zion Church by Reverend Harold Jones with burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will be 2:00- 6:00 pm., Monday at Stewart Funeral Home Heath Springs SC.
