Kaye Frances Gibson

Kaye Frances Gibson was born on September 22, 1945 to H.T. Royal and Catherine B. Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kaye received her formal education through the St. Lucie County Public School System, where she excelled in her studies. After completing her formal education, Kaye attended Indian River Junior College where she enrolled in the Nursing program and earned a certification in Nursing Assisting (CNA). Shortly after completing the CNA program, Kaye was employed by the Florida Community Health Center, where she served as a Medical Assistant and Medical Records Specialist until her retirement. In her leisure, she enjoyed reading, talking on the phone with friends and relatives and spending time with family. Sister Gibson accepted Christ as her Savior at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Ft. Pierce, Florida, where she served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. Kaye was abundantly blessed and surrounded daily by friends and family who loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nettie B. Bell; father, H.T. Royal; mother, Catherine B. Hall; brother, Oliver W. Cox; daughter, Trina M. Watson and grandson, Dravious L. Burch. She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Barbara Houston and Debra Edwards; brother, Joseph Hall; daughters, Dawn Burns and Kim Shazier; son Cedrick Gibson; granddaughters, Charity Burns, Janiel Watson, Amber Gibson, Adeja McDaniel, Genesis Gibson, Micaha Mosley and Taylor Gibson; grandsons, Joshua Burns and Cedrick Gibson II; great grandsons, Dravious Burch Jr., Dorian Burch and Christopher Harris Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Public visitation for Kaye Frances Gibson will convene on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the East Florida Primitive Baptist Association Temple in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce, FL.
