Rufus Hardin, Jr.

Rufus G. Hardin JR. of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at Fort Sanders Hospital on August 21, 2025. He was born on August 23, 1959.

Proceeded in death by parents: Father Rufus G. Hardin SR. and Mother Jeanette B. Hardin and Brother Gregory Hardin. He is survived by daughters Brandi ( Teico) Dean and Joy Hardin. Sister’s Jeaquetta A. Hardin and Stephanie J. Hardin and brother Richard (April) Hardin and grandchildren Jalen Hardin and Sebastian Dean; cousin Charles Mills. Special Friend Tammy Young and other family members to and friends to numerous to name.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 04, 2025 from 05:00 pm-06:00 pm with the Celebration of Life Services at 06:00 pm at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Officiating Pastor Joseph S. Moore. Repast is at Butterfly Effects Event Center.
