Mr.Shellman , Mike and I really appreciated being your friends. Mike has passed now and I was just now able to find out you passed away. It is July 2023 and I would like to get in touch with a relative. I have a book draft you wrote and dedicated it to me. It's about the Buffalo soldiers. Mike and I helped as much as we could to help you with your writing. I also wrote a poem for you at the front of the draft. I would like to help get this book published for the family. Lee Ludwig. Uncle Bill, we love you and will miss your beautiful smile, jokes and warmth. May God enjoy your company and may you have peace in his. I can still hear your laughter and can feel your joy. Uncle Bill, you were and still so grateful to have a loving and supporting family. I would be remiss if I didn't give a special thanks to one of his nieces, Mrs. Roberta, and the Knox family. "Thank you for all that you've done and continue to do." To Family and friends, Always remember, "To Be Absent From The Body, Is To Be Present With The Lord!! God is Love!

To the Family: Very sorry for your loss. It is a time like this that we can find comfort and strength in the promises found in God’s word at Isaiah 25:8 and Acts 24:15. We long to see their fulfillment soon.
