Mary Catherine Langston
Mary Catherine Langston, lovingly known as “Cathie” went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2025. She was born June 24, 1949, in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Ulysses and Margaret Love.
Cathie’s life was a reflection of her deep faith and devotion to God. She loved serving the Lord with all of her heart, and those who knew her could always feel the warmth of her spirit. She was a gifted lover of music, with a voice that now the heavens are enjoying. Not only did she have a passion for music, but she also had a passion for teaching. She believed in shaping the lives of countless children. Before retiring, Cathie dedicated over 25 years as a preschool teacher for both KCD Child care and the YMCA Prime Time. Her legacy as a teacher has continued to inspire those whose lives she touched.
