Samuel Edward Gilmore IV

Samuel Edward Gilmore IV was born on December 21, 1994, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He departed this life on August 22, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Johnnie Mae Langston, Annie Mae Roper, Sarah Langston, Ophelia Gilmore, Ronald Gilmore, Charles Langston, Chekesha Crippen, Paul and Beverly Riley.

He leaves cherished memories with his father, Samuel (Bianca) Gilmore; mother, Paula Riley; son, Ja’Kobe Blair; daughter, Xalia; siblings: Paul Riley, Rebecca Wilker, Kedaris, DaKevian, Sedricia (Charles) Ellis, Samyne, Trey’Von, Nisha, Chambers, Shea; grandfather: Samuel Gilmore Jr.; and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 2-3:00p.m. with the Celebration of Life service to begin at 3:00 p.m.at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.

The final resting place will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery immediately following the service.
