Mrs. Carmenlita Wade age 61 passed away at St Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.

Carmenlita Wade was born June 30, 1964 to Jacqueline Ellen Meeks and Willie James Meeks. She attended Lowell Elementary School and graduated from Central High School. She then went on to acquire her CNA license. She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Bernard West Pine Nursing Home for 9 years, followed by 15 years at St. Louis University.

Carmenlita attended Perpetual Life Church, where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was baptized by Pastor Charles Edward Bingham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wade, Sr.;son, Robert Lee Wade Jr.; sister, Barbara Ann Meeks Smith;nephew Kenneth S. Gordon; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Bettie (Eugene) Meeks, Deborah (Tony) Frazier, Pamila (Anthony) Dennis, and Myra Key; four brothers, Ronald Fowler, Samuel K Fowler, Eugene Meeks, and Jeffrey Meeks; sister, Renee Meeks; special sister-in-law, Bettie Meeks; grandchildren, Joseph Wade, Jarred Wade, Neveah Wade, TaQuelous Harris, Jennifer Oden, Jonathan Greer, Kennetha Batten, Dennisha Davison, Patrick Wade, Erica Meeks, and Brittney Haynes; nephews, Jimmie Jackson, Quintez Taylor, Kenneth Smith, and Brandon Fowler; Nieces Toccara Jackson, Elena Fowler, Crystal Brooks, Rebecca Smith, and Ericka Meeks; great-nephew, Larry Hall. Special friends, Stephanie Burgess and Lester Brady.

Public Viewing, Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4-6PM at Hellum Funeral Chapel.

Family Visitation, Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9-10AM with funeral service to follow at Perpetual Life Christian Church 1400 Park Ave St Louis, MO 63104.
