Bessie Calvin, 80, died Saturday, August 30, 2025 at her residence, 204 E. Hospital St., Manning, SC. She was born November 18, 1944 in Alcolu, SC. A daughter of the late Henry and Ella Owens Calvin.

Public viewing 2PM til 6PM Monday, September 8, 2025 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.

Celebration of life 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, Alcolu, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at 1105 Boston Wells Rd., Alcolu, SC.
