It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Lawrence Thomas Sr.

Lawrence Thomas Sr., 97, died Friday, August 29, 2025.

Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at New St. John A.M.E. Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include five sons, Calvin Thomas (Yvette), Lawrence Thomas Jr. (Virginia), James Thomas, Antonio Davis and Darryl Solomon; four daughters, Virginia Lamb (Timothy), Carolyn Thomas, Patricia Thomas and Darlene Solomon; 49 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 30 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
